MAR – My Animal Record
FOUND AN ANIMAL?

Help get them home.

Look at the animal’s tag. Enter the number printed on the tag.

Numbers only — no letters, spaces or symbols.
How it works

Four simple steps

1Go to FOUND AN ANIMAL?

Scan the QR code on the tag (or tap it if your phone has NFC), or go to MyAnimalRecord.com and tap “Found an Animal?”.

2Enter the MAR number

Type in the MAR number from the tag. Numbers only — no letters, spaces or symbols.

3The owner is notified

After a valid MAR number lookup, the registered owner immediately receives an alert.

4Share your location (optional)

You can share your location with the owner to help them find their animal. Sharing is optional and declining does not stop the owner from receiving the alert.

Important to know

  • You will not see the owner’s private details such as their address — only the contact information they approved.
  • The owner receives an alert that someone may have found their animal.
  • Please provide a location and any helpful notes if you can.
  • If the tag is missing or there is no MAR number, please contact a local shelter, rescue or animal control for assistance.

Are you the owner?

If your animal is missing, log in and mark it Missing / Lost. Anyone who enters its MAR number will see a missing banner and your contact buttons.

MAR tags are identification and contact tools — not GPS trackers. Location is shared only if you choose to share it.
